Assembly:  System.Design (in System.Design.dll)
Visual Basic (Declaration)
Public Sub Dispose
Visual Basic (Usage)
Dim instance As ComponentDesigner

instance.Dispose()
C#
public void Dispose()
Visual C++
public:
virtual void Dispose() sealed
JScript
public final function Dispose()

Implements

IDisposable..::.Dispose()()()

Call Dispose when you are finished using the ComponentDesigner. The Dispose method leaves the ComponentDesigner in an unusable state. After calling Dispose, you must release all references to the ComponentDesigner so the garbage collector can reclaim the memory that the ComponentDesigner was occupying. For more information, see Cleaning Up Unmanaged Resources and Implementing a Dispose Method.

NoteNote:

Always call Dispose before you release your last reference to the ComponentDesigner. Otherwise, the resources it is using will not be freed until the garbage collector calls the ComponentDesigner object's Finalize method.
