BitConverter.GetBytes Method (Single)

Returns the specified single-precision floating point value as an array of bytes.

Parameters

value
Type: System.Single
The number to convert.

Return Value

Type: System.Byte[]
An array of bytes with length 4.

The following code example converts the bit patterns of Single values to Byte arrays with the GetBytes method.
