ToolboxService.GetToolboxItem Method (Type)

Returns a toolbox item for a given type.

Parameters

toolType: Type: System.Type
The type of component for which to retrieve the toolbox item.

Return Value

Type: System.Drawing.Design.ToolboxItem
A toolbox item associated with the given type, or null if the type has no corresponding toolbox item.

Exceptions

Exception	Condition
ArgumentNullException	toolType is null.
