StorageFolder.DisplayType | displayType property

Applies to Windows and Windows Phone

Gets the user-friendly type of the folder or file group.

Syntax


var displayType = storageFolder.displayType;

Property value

Type: String [JavaScript] | System.String [.NET] | Platform::String [C++]

The user-friendly type of the folder or file group.

Remarks

For example, a group of files that all have the ".jpg" file name extension might have the display type of "JPG File".
