IMapView<K, V>.Split method

Applies to Windows and Windows Phone

Splits the map view into two views.

Syntax

void Split(
  [OutAttribute] IMapView<K, V>^ first,
  [OutAttribute] IMapView<K, V>^ second
)

Parameters

first (out parameter)

Type: IMapView<K, V>

One half of the original map.

second (out parameter)

Type: IMapView<K, V>

The second half of the original map.

Remarks

When building Windows Store apps with the Microsoft .NET Framework, this interface is hidden and developers should use the System.Collections.Generic.IReadOnlyDictionary<K,V> interface.

The two views that result from the split operation may not contain the same number of items. The two views do not overlap.
