Deploying an Enterprise Application Integration Project

[This topic is pre-release documentation and is subject to change in future releases. Blank topics are included as placeholders.]

This section provides information about deploying an Enterprise Application Integration project on to the Windows Azure Service Bus. Service Bus EAI and EDI Labs provides you with two deployment options:

  • Deploy the Enterprise Application Integration project using Visual Studio – This option is applicable if you are using the Visual Studio Enterprise Application Integration project template to create your message flow. Using the Enterprise Application Integration project, you can deploy the XML bridges as well as the artifacts (schemas and transforms), all at the same time.

  • Deploy each component separately – You also have the option to deploy only the artifacts separately, without using Visual Studio. Why would one choose this option and the procedure to deploy the individual components separately is explained at Deploying Individual Components of an Enterprise Application Integration Project Separately.

    ImportantImportant
For deploying a bridge on Service Bus, you must always use Visual Studio. For more information, see Deploying an Enterprise Application Integration Project Using Visual Studio.
