This document contains a list of the known issues for Windows Azure SQL Database. This document may change over time as we encounter new issues or learn more about existing ones.
Symptoms
When working with a table that has a spatial index, you may notice that a SELECT query that previously worked begins returning incorrect results, or you may encounter the following errors when attempting an UPDATE or DELETE operation:
Unable to find index entry in index ID %d, of table %d, in database '%.*ls'. The indicated index is corrupt or there is a problem with the current update plan. Run DBCC CHECKDB or DBCC CHECKTABLE. If the problem persists, contact product support.
Cause
Microsoft is currently investigating the cause of this problem.
Workaround
To work around this issue, drop the spatial index and then recreate it.
