About This Download

Microsoft has developed an application called "Windows Media Connect" for delivering audio, video, and photo content to digital media receivers on a home network. The application is based on public standards such as UPnP and HTTP. However, certain aspects of this application might be Microsoft specific.

This document provides a detailed technical description on how to make a device compatible with Windows Media Connect.
