USB printing support is included in Microsoft Windows 2000, Windows Millennium Edition (Windows Me), and Windows XP. This support is delivered through two files, Usbprint.sys and Usbmon.dll. Write your printer driver as outlined in the Windows DDK. Important: Microsoft is extending redistribution rights and technical support for USBPrint until June 30, 2006, after which all redistribution rights expire and Microsoft will no longer support USBPrint in accordance with the Windows Desktop Product Life Cycle policies.
