HttpCookie.Value | value property

Applies to Windows and Windows Phone

Get or set the value for the HttpCookie.

Syntax


var value = httpCookie.value;
httpCookie.value = value;

Property value

Type: String [JavaScript] | System.String [.NET] | Platform::String [C++]

The value for the HttpCookie.

Remarks

The Value of the HttpCookie must not be set to null (Nothing in Visual Basic).

The following characters are reserved and cannot be used for this property:

  • backslash ('\')
  • comma (',')
  • semicolon (';')
