VideoEncodingProperties.CreateUncompressed | createUncompressed method

Creates an instance of VideoEncodingProperties for a uncompressed video.

Syntax


var videoEncodingProperties = Windows.Media.MediaProperties.VideoEncodingProperties.createUncompressed(subtype, width, height);

Parameters

subtype

Type: String [JavaScript] | System.String [.NET] | Platform::String [C++]

The media subtype of the format.

width

Type: Number [JavaScript] | System.UInt32 [.NET] | uint32 [C++]

The video image width.

height

Type: Number [JavaScript] | System.UInt32 [.NET] | uint32 [C++]

The video image height.

Return value

Type: VideoEncodingProperties

The video encoding properties.

Examples

Here is some code that creates an instance of the VideoEncodingProperties class using CreateUncompressed, specifying BGRA8 media type and 720x480 resolution.


VideoEncodingProperties videoProps = 
    VideoEncodingProperties.CreateUncompressed(MediaEncodingSubtypes.Bgra8, 720, 480);
