DataGridView.RowHeightInfoPushed Event

Occurs when the user changes the height of a row.

Namespace: System.Windows.Forms
Assembly: System.Windows.Forms (in system.windows.forms.dll)

public event DataGridViewRowHeightInfoPushedEventHandler RowHeightInfoPushed
/** @event */
public void add_RowHeightInfoPushed (DataGridViewRowHeightInfoPushedEventHandler value)

/** @event */
public void remove_RowHeightInfoPushed (DataGridViewRowHeightInfoPushedEventHandler value)

In JScript, you can handle the events defined by a class, but you cannot define your own.
Not applicable.

This event is raised when the VirtualMode property is set to true or the DataSource property is set to a value other than a null reference (Nothing in Visual Basic). This event is used to track and store row height information so that it can be restored after a sorting operation. To restore height information, handle the RowHeightInfoNeeded event. Note that this event occurs only when the user changes the height of a row. If you change the height of a row programmatically, you must store the new height information at the same time.

For more information about handling events, see Consuming Events.

The following code example demonstrates the use of this member. In the example, an event handler reports on the occurrence of the RowHeightInfoPushed event. This report helps you to learn when the event occurs and can assist you in debugging. To report on multiple events or on events that occur frequently, consider replacing System.Windows.Forms.MessageBox.Show with System.Console.WriteLine or appending the message to a multiline TextBox.

To run the example code, paste it into a project that contains an instance of type DataGridView named DataGridView1. Then ensure that the event handler is associated with the RowHeightInfoPushed event.

private void DataGridView1_RowHeightInfoPushed(Object sender, DataGridViewRowHeightInfoPushedEventArgs e) {

System.Text.StringBuilder messageBoxCS = new System.Text.StringBuilder();
messageBoxCS.AppendFormat("{0} = {1}", "Height", e.Height );
messageBoxCS.AppendLine();
messageBoxCS.AppendFormat("{0} = {1}", "MinimumHeight", e.MinimumHeight );
messageBoxCS.AppendLine();
messageBoxCS.AppendFormat("{0} = {1}", "RowIndex", e.RowIndex );
messageBoxCS.AppendLine();
messageBoxCS.AppendFormat("{0} = {1}", "Handled", e.Handled );
messageBoxCS.AppendLine();
MessageBox.Show(messageBoxCS.ToString(), "RowHeightInfoPushed Event" );
}
