IDynamicPropertyCmdletProvider Interface

Defines the new, remove, copy, move, and rename methods for item properties within a data store. The methods of this interface are implemented by providers that access data stores whose properties can be defined at runtime.

Developers should implement this interface under the following conditions:

In this context, an "item" is something that contains content within a data store. For example, the items of the file system data store could be files or directories.

Windows PowerShell provides a TemplateProvider.cs file that is available on the Windows SDK. To start writing your own provider make a copy of this file and use that copy to create your provider, removing any functionality that you do not need.
