IMFVideoDisplayControl::SetBorderColor method

Sets the border color for the video.

Syntax


HRESULT SetBorderColor(
  [in]  COLORREF Clr
);

Parameters

Clr [in]

Specifies the border color as a COLORREF value.

Return value

The method returns an HRESULT. Possible values include, but are not limited to, those in the following table.

Return codeDescription
S_OK

The method succeeded.

MF_E_SHUTDOWN

The video renderer has been shut down.

 

Remarks

By default, if the video window straddles two monitors, the enhanced video renderer (EVR) clips the video to one monitor and draws the border color on the remaining portion of the window. (To change the clipping behavior, call IMFVideoDisplayControl::SetRenderingPrefs.)

The border color is not used for letterboxing. To change the letterbox color, call IMFVideoProcessor::SetBackgroundColor.
