ExchangeUtils::Create55CustomRecipient Method

The Create55CustomRecipient method creates a custom recipient in Exchange Server 5.5.

Parameters

  • TargetExchange55MA
    The Exchange 5.5 management agent through which the new object is provisioned.

  • DistinguishedName
    The distinguished name of the custom recipient.

  • Alias
    The mail alias of the custom recipient.

  • DisplayName
    The name that is displayed for the custom recipient.

  • SMTPEmail
    The SMTP address of the custom recipient.

  • ORAddress
    The primary X.400 address for the recipient.

Return Value

Returns a CSEntry representing the connected data source entry.

Exceptions

Exception type Condition
ArgumentException

A required parameter is not present.

ArgumentNullException

A required parameter is null.

AttributeNotInInclusionListException

A required attribute is not selected in the management agent.

InvalidOperationException

You attempted to create the same custom recipient more than once in the IMVSynchronization.Provision method. This method is called for each metaverse object when a metaverse rules extension exists.

NoSuchObjectTypeException

The object type referenced is not in the schema.
