Asynchronous Enrollment

The following code example:

  • Calls WinBioOpenSession to open a biometric session and connect to the system pool.
  • Calls WinBioLocateSensor to locate a biometric unit.
  • Calls WinBioEnrollBegin to start the enrollment sequence.
  • Calls WinBioEnrollCaptureWithCallback to process multiple finger swipes. This function is asynchronous and uses a custom callback function to continue processing on a separate thread. An example callback function is included below.
  • Calls WinBioWait to wait for the asynchronous enrollment process to complete or be canceled.
  • Calls WinBioEnrollCommit to save the template.
