MediaStreamSource.MediaStreamSource(IMediaStreamDescriptor) constructor

Creates an instance of MediaStreamSource from the specified IMediaStreamDescriptor.

Syntax


var mediaStreamSource = new Windows.Media.Core.MediaStreamSource(descriptor);

Parameters

descriptor

Type: IMediaStreamDescriptor

The AudioStreamDescriptor or VideoStreamDescriptor to create the MediaStreamSource from.

Remarks

This constructor creates a MediaStreamSource using a single AudioStreamDescriptor or VideoStreamDescriptor object. If the MediaStreamSource needs descriptors, the MediaStreamSource constructor overload which takes two descriptor can be used.

It is possible to add additional descriptors to a MediaStreamSource after it has been created, by invoking the AddStreamDescriptor method.
