HttpMultipartFormDataContent.HttpMultipartFormDataContent(String) constructor

Initializes a new instance of the HttpMultipartFormDataContent class with the specified boundary string.

Syntax


var httpMultipartFormDataContent = new Windows.Web.Http.HttpMultipartFormDataContent(boundary);

Parameters

boundary

Type: String [JavaScript] | System.String [.NET] | Platform::String [C++]

The boundary string for the multipart content.

Exceptions

Parameter validation errors that cause exceptions can occur when calling this method. An app can use the HRESULT from the exception to learn more detailed information on the cause of the exception.

ExceptionCondition
E_INVALIDARG

The boundary parameter is null (Nothing in Visual Basic) or contains only white space characters or the boundary ends with a space character.

The length of the boundary parameter is greater than 70.
