Calendar.EraAsString(Int32) | eraAsString(Int32) method

Applies to Windows and Windows Phone

Returns a string representation of the era. The string chosen is closest in length to the ideal length.

Syntax


public:
String^ EraAsString(
  int idealLength
)

Parameters

idealLength

Type: Number [JavaScript] | System.Int32 [.NET] | int32 [C++]

A positive integer specifying the ideal length, in characters, for the returned string, or 0 specifying the most common abbreviation available.

Return value

Type: String [JavaScript] | System.String [.NET] | Platform::String [C++]

A string representation of the era.
