Windows Error Reporting

The error reporting feature enables users to notify Microsoft of application faults, kernel faults, unresponsive applications, and other application specific problems. Microsoft can use the error reporting feature to provide customers with troubleshooting information, solutions, or updates for their specific problems. Developers can use this infrastructure to receive information that can be used to improve their applications.

Users can enable error reporting through the Windows user interface. They can choose to report errors for specific applications. Administrators can override these settings using Group Policy.

Developers can register with Windows Quality Online Services to get information about the problems customers are experiencing with their applications and help customers fix these problems. Developers can also use Application Recovery and Restart to ensure that customers do not lose data when their application crashes and allow users to quickly return to their tasks.

Cascading screens print error missing error number
1. Image is displayed in Windows Photo Viewer 2. Clicking Print/Print brings out Print Pictures screen with 4 cascading error screens "Your pictures can't be printed because of this error:" 3. This behavior started when the Windows Live Photo Gallry was installed. 4. Uninstalling Windows Live doesn't help, and cascading error screens continue. 5. SFC executed as Administrator in the Safe Mode doesn't find any problems with system files. 5. Printer has the latest drivers and prints from all other applications. I suspect some sort of the Registy setting error. Is there an known fix for this annoying issue?

Okay, so I dont know the technicalities or anything..but my boyfriend is away at college and just this week he bought the upgrade from Vista to Win7. After downloading it, the computer told him to uninstall norton because it was no longer compatible. Ever since, he's unable to use any type of internet. He's sure it has to do with not having Norton anymore because he's tried restoring the computer previous to any updates, turning everything off and restarting, unplugging his router, EVERYTHING. i'm posting this because its finals week and he needs his computer, but we have no idea what he is supposed to do? if all he has to do is re-install Norton, he's currently SOL because he can't find his CD for it, but he will be able to download the version his dad just got with the laptop he bought last week. ANYWAY...any solution for this issue? or does he just need to wait until next week when he is home to get his dad's version of 09 norton?

So why do you think that this is the right place to ask this question? Community content is for folks to add content, NOT to get support.
