Actions Pane
The rightmost pane in the MMC 3.0 console, the Actions pane, displays commands available for the selected object and the node to which the object belongs. The pane contains the same commands as the Action menu and context menus but is more discoverable.

The Actions pane has two sections: the upper one applies to the node, and the lower one applies to the object selected in the upper pane. Each section can optionally contain subsections, which you define with separators. Except for the customizable (first) subsection of each section, the layout of the pane and the order of the commands are generated automatically, just as are menus.
The Actions pane supports a scrollbar, as necessary.
