D3DXQuaternionLength function

Returns the length of a quaternion.

Syntax


FLOAT D3DXQuaternionLength(
  _In_  const D3DXQUATERNION *pQ
);

Parameters

pQ [in]

Type: const D3DXQUATERNION*

Pointer to the source D3DXQUATERNION structure.

Return value

Type: FLOAT

The quaternion's length.

Remarks

Use D3DXQuaternionNormalize for any quaternion input that is not already normalized.
