MediaElement.GetAudioStreamLanguage method

Applies to Windows and Windows Phone

Returns the RFC 1766 language for the specified audio stream.

Syntax

String^ GetAudioStreamLanguage(
  IReference<int>^ index
)

Parameters

index

Type: IReference<Int32> [C++] | System.Nullable<Int32> [.NET]

The index of the stream to get the language for.

If you are programming using C# or Visual Basic, the type of this parameter is projected as int? (a nullable integer).

Return value

Type: System.String [.NET] | Platform::String [C++]

The RFC 1766 language for the specified audio stream, expressed as a string (for example, "en-us").
