Retrieves an object that has the specified identifier name.

Syntax

public object FindName(
  string name
)

Parameters

name

Type: System.String [.NET] | Platform::String [C++]

The name of the requested object.

Return value

Type: System.Object [.NET] | Platform::Object [C++]

The requested object. This can be null if no matching object was found in the current XAML namescope.
