CoreApplication.CreateNewView method

Creates a new view for the app.

Syntax

public:
static CoreApplicationView^ CreateNewView(
  String^ runtimeType, 
  String^ entryPoint
)

Parameters

runtimeType

Type: System.String [.NET] | Platform::String [C++]

The class ID of the view provider for the new view. If this parameter is null, use the current view provider.

entryPoint

Type: System.String [.NET] | Platform::String [C++]

Additional info about the view, such as its class name in the app code.

Return value

Type: CoreApplicationView

The view.

Remarks

Windows Phone 8

This API is not implemented and will throw an exception if called.
