Matrix.Translate Method

Appends a translation of the specified offsets to this Matrix structure.

Namespace:  System.Windows.Media
Assembly:  WindowsBase (in WindowsBase.dll)

public void Translate(
	double offsetX,
	double offsetY


Type: System.Double

The amount to offset this Matrix along the x-axis.

Type: System.Double

The amount to offset this Matrix along the y-axis.

The following example shows how append a translation onto a Matrix structure.

private Matrix translateExample()

    Matrix myMatrix = new Matrix(5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30);

    myMatrix.Translate(5, 10);

    // myMatrix is equal to (5, 10, 15, 20, 30, 40). 
    return myMatrix;
