Freezable.ReadPreamble Method

Ensures that this Freezable is being accessed from a valid thread. Implementers of Freezable must call this method at the beginning of any API that reads data members that are not dependency properties.

Namespace: System.Windows
Assembly: WindowsBase (in windowsbase.dll)

protected void ReadPreamble ()
protected void ReadPreamble ()
protected function ReadPreamble ()
You cannot use methods in XAML.

Notes to Implementers: Classes that derive from Freezable should call the ReadPreamble method before they attempt to access any members that are not dependency properties. The WritePreamble method should be called before any such members are written to. This method effectively does nothing more than call VerifyAccess.
