PanningMode Enumeration

Specifies how ScrollViewer reacts to touch manipulation.

BothThe ScrollViewer scrolls horizontally and vertically.
HorizontalFirstThe ScrollViewer scrolls when the user moves a finger horizontally first. If the user moves the vertically first, the movement is treated as mouse events. After the ScrollViewer begins to scroll, it will scroll horizontally and vertically.
HorizontalOnlyThe ScrollViewer scrolls horizontally only.
NoneThe ScrollViewer does not respond to touch input.
VerticalFirstThe ScrollViewer scrolls when the user moves a finger vertically first. If the user moves the horizontally first, the movement is treated as mouse events. After the ScrollViewer begins to scroll, it will scroll horizontally and vertically.
VerticalOnlyThe ScrollViewer scrolls vertically only.

The ScrollViewer will scroll when a user drags a finger on the control on a touch device that supports Windows Touch. The PanningMode property specifies whether the ScrollViewer scroll horizontally, vertically, or both.
