	component : Object
) : Object
Not applicable.

Parameters

component

The component with the property for which to retrieve the value.

Return Value

The value of a property for a given component.

Typically, this method is implemented through reflection.

This method automatically calls the pre-change method, OnComponentChanging, and post-change method, OnComponentChanged, of the IComponentChangeService.

Notes to Inheritors: When you override this method, it gets the current value of the property by invoking a "GetMyProperty" method that you need to implement. An exception in that method should pass through.
