IWMSTransportProperties Interface

The IWMSTransportProperties interface provides methods for retrieving, adding, or updating network transport properties used by the server and a data sink plug-in during the media streaming process. The server and the data sink use the transport property information to set up network connections when the client sends an RTSP SETUP request to the server, or for equivalent actions when other protocols are used.

  • Note   This interface is available only on Windows Server 2003, Enterprise Edition with Service Pack 1; Windows Server 2003, Datacenter Edition with Service Pack 1; and Windows Server 2008.

In addition to the methods inherited from IUnknown, the IWMSTransportProperties interface exposes the following methods.

Method Description
CreateGlobalProperties Creates global properties associated with all the media streams that will be sent out by the data sink.
CreateStreamProperties Creates properties of a specific stream in a multimedia streaming session.
DeleteGlobalProperties Deletes global properties associated with all the media streams that will be sent out by the data sink.
