UIElementCollection.Contains Method

Determines whether a specified element is in the UIElementCollection.

Namespace:  System.Windows.Controls
Assembly:  PresentationFramework (in PresentationFramework.dll)

public virtual bool Contains(
	UIElement element
)
You cannot use methods in XAML.

Parameters

element
Type: System.Windows.UIElement

The element to find.

Return Value

Type: System.Boolean
true if the specified UIElement is found in the collection; otherwise, false.

The following example uses the Contains method to determine if a specific UIElement exists within a UIElementCollection. For the complete sample, see Using Elements Sample.
