stroke-width property

Sets or retrieves a value that specifies the width of the stroke on the current object.

Syntax

stroke-width: <percentage> | <length> | inherit

Property values

percentage

An integer, followed by a % sign. The value is a percentage of the current viewport.

length

A floating-point number, followed by either an absolute units designator (cm, mm, in, pt, or pc) or a relative units designator (em, ex, or px), that indicates the width of the stroke. (For more information about the supported length units, see CSS Length Units Reference.) Default value is 1.

inherit

Indicates that the property takes the same computed value as the property for the element's parent.

Standards information

Remarks

A length value of 0 causes no stroke to be painted. A negative value is an error.
