Gets the total number of regions of the surface that must be updated.
Syntax
HRESULT GetUpdateRectCount( [out] DWORD *pCount );
Parameters
- pCount [out]

Receives the number of regions to update.
Return value
If this method succeeds, it returns S_OK. Otherwise, it returns an HRESULT error code.
