msIsStaticHTML method

Returns a Boolean value indicating whether or not the given HTML string is safe.

Syntax

var retVal = window.msIsStaticHTML(html);

Parameters

html [in]

Type: DOMString

The HTML markup to check.

Remarks

This method is similar to toStaticHTML. toStaticHTML takes an arbitrary string of HTML as the parameter and produces a modified (if necessary) version of that HTML that is safe. msIsStaticHTML takes an arbitrary string of HTML as the parameter and returns true if toStaticHTML did not have to modify the string to make it safe. Otherwise, it returns  false.
