Here, we describe the app's listing page in the Windows Store and how the info that you provide when you submit an app is displayed to your customers.
Windows Store app listing page

Your app's listing page describes your app to customers in the Windows Store. The left half of the listing page displays technical info about your app and the right half displays one of the tabs that contain additional description info about your app.

The Overview tab makes your app's first impression on your customers. The app description and screenshot are the most prominent elements, so make sure they are interesting and informative.

The Details tab contains your app's technical details such as the processor types, languages, and the system capabilities it can use.

Reviews
The Reviews tab contains reviews of your app that your customers wrote and submitted to the Windows Store.
Additional description info
Your app's description also includes info that the Windows Store uses to determine where and when your app appears in the Store, but your customers don't see this info directly.

Countries/regions
You pick these to indicate in which countries and regions you want to show your app to customers.

Release date
This sets the date on which your app is listed in the Windows Store.

Category and subcategory
This describes what type of app it is, so the app is easier to find.

Keywords
The search engine used by the Windows Store uses the keywords that you enter to display your app in search results. These keywords are not shown to customers.

Promotional images
The Windows Store editorial staff uses these to highlight your app. They are not shown in the regular catalog display.
App listing info
The left side of your app's listing displays your app's basic info.

Here's what this info contains.

Your app's name
The text shown for your app's name comes from the Package/Properties/DisplayName element in the app manifest.
For more info about picking a good name, see Naming your app.
Under your app's name is the shopping path that shows your app's category and subcategory (if applicable).

Your app's icon
This is the app's logo icon. You define this icon in the Package/Properties/Logo of the app manifest.

A summary of how customers rate your app
The rating is from 1 to 5 stars and represents the average of all the ratings customers have given your app.

Your app's price and whether a trial version is available

The system capabilities your app has permission to use
You specify this info in your app's package manifest.

Your app's age rating

The size of your app's package
The dashboard measures this when you upload your app's packages.

Your publisher name
This is the name you picked when you registered for your Windows Store developer account.

Copyright and trademark info
You enter this as a part of your app's description.

The Overview tab of your app's listing displays info that describes your app.

When a customer clicks the Overview tab, these elements appear in the right half of the app listing page.

Your privacy policy
Your privacy policy or privacy statement tells your customers how you'll protect their personal information. Review the Certification requirements for Windows apps to see of your app needs a privacy policy.
App listing details
The Details tab of your app's listing displays additional technical details about your app.

When a customer clicks Details, these elements appear in the right half of the app listing page.
You must specify this info in the app manifest.

The description of your update, if you updated the app
This is text you enter into the app's Description page.
