DirectoryEntry Constructor (String, String, String, AuthenticationTypes)

Initializes a new instance of the DirectoryEntry class.

Namespace:  System.DirectoryServices
Assembly:  System.DirectoryServices (in System.DirectoryServices.dll)

public DirectoryEntry(
	string path,
	string username,
	string password,
	AuthenticationTypes authenticationType
)

Parameters

path
Type: System.String
username
Type: System.String
The user name to use when authenticating the client. The Username property is initialized to this value.
password
Type: System.String
authenticationType
Type: System.DirectoryServices.AuthenticationTypes
One of the AuthenticationTypes values. The AuthenticationType property is initialized to this value.

.NET Framework Client Profile

Supported in: 4, 3.5 SP1

Windows 8 Release Preview, Windows Server 2012, Windows 7, Windows Vista SP2, Windows Server 2008 SP2, Windows Server 2008 R2 (Server Core Role supported with SP1 or later; Itanium not supported)
