The Business Data Connectivity (BDC) service Administration Web service provides methods that can be used to import and export BDC models.

To access this Web service set a Web reference to http://<site>/_vti_bin/Bdcadminservice.svc.

For examples that show how to use this service, see methods of the BusinessDataCatalogSharedServiceClient class.

	Class	Description
	BusinessDataCatalogSharedServiceClient	A Web client that enables importing and exporting Business Data Connectivity (BDC) service models from the Metadata Store.
	PackageFormatExceptionState	An exception that is thrown when a critical error is encountered during the import of a metadata model into the Metadata Store.
