XmlTextReader.GetAttribute Method (Int32)

Gets the value of the attribute with the specified index.

)

Parameters

i
Type: System.Int32

The index of the attribute. The index is zero-based. (The first attribute has index 0.)

Return Value

Type: System.String
The value of the specified attribute.
ExceptionCondition
ArgumentOutOfRangeException

The i parameter is less than 0 or greater than or equal to AttributeCount.

NoteNote

In the .NET Framework 2.0 release, the recommended practice is to create XmlReader instances using the XmlReader.Create method. This allows you to take full advantage of the new features introduced in this release. For more information, see Creating XML Readers.

This method does not move the reader.
