XmlReader.HasAttributes Property

Gets a value indicating whether the current node has any attributes.

true if the current node has attributes; otherwise, false.

ExceptionCondition
InvalidOperationException

An XmlReader method was called before a previous asynchronous operation finished. In this case, InvalidOperationException is thrown with the message “An asynchronous operation is already in progress.”

The following example displays all attributes on the current node.

If reader.HasAttributes Then
  Console.WriteLine("Attributes of <" + reader.Name + ">")
  While reader.MoveToNextAttribute()
    Console.WriteLine(" {0}={1}", reader.Name, reader.Value)
  End While 
  ' Move the reader back to the element node.
  reader.MoveToElement()
