XmlReader.HasAttributes Property

Gets a value indicating whether the current node has any attributes.

Namespace: System.Xml
Assembly: System.Xml (in system.xml.dll)

public virtual bool HasAttributes { get; }
/** @property */
public boolean get_HasAttributes ()

public function get HasAttributes () : boolean

Property Value

true if the current node has attributes; otherwise, false.

The following example displays all attributes on the current node.

if (reader.HasAttributes) {
  Console.WriteLine("Attributes of <" + reader.Name + ">");
  while (reader.MoveToNextAttribute()) {
    Console.WriteLine(" {0}={1}", reader.Name, reader.Value);
  }
  // Move the reader back to the element node.
  reader.MoveToElement();
}
