XmlDataDocument.CreateEntityReference Method

Creates an XmlEntityReference with the specified name.

Parameters

name
Type: System.String

The name of the entity reference.

Return Value

Type: System.Xml.XmlEntityReference
An XmlEntityReference with the specified name.

ExceptionCondition
NotSupportedException

Calling this method.

XmlEntityReference nodes cannot be created for XmlDataDocument objects. Calling this method throws an exception.
