NoteNote

This material discusses types and namespaces that are obsolete. For more information, see Deprecated Types in Windows Workflow Foundation 4.5.

Each user event or activity status event that occurs during a workflow instance is associated with a specific activity. An ActivityDataTrackingExtract specifies a property or a field to be extracted from this activity. You can include an ActivityDataTrackingExtract in either UserTrackPoint.Extracts or ActivityTrackPoint.Extracts to instruct the runtime tracking infrastructure to extract a field or a property from the associated activity when the infrastructure matches an ActivityTrackPoint or a UserTrackPoint. The runtime tracking infrastructure puts the extracted data and any associated annotations in the ActivityTrackingRecord or the UserTrackingRecord that it returns to the tracking service.

Set Member to specify the field or property for the runtime tracking infrastructure to extract from the activity. You can associate additional information with the extracted data by adding to Annotations.
