UIElement.DragEnter Event

Occurs when the input system reports an underlying drag event with this element as the drag target.

Namespace: System.Windows
Assembly: PresentationCore (in presentationcore.dll)
XML Namespace:  http://schemas.microsoft.com/winfx/2006/xaml/presentation

public event DragEventHandler DragEnter
/** @event */
public void add_DragEnter (DragEventHandler value)

/** @event */
public void remove_DragEnter (DragEventHandler value)

In JScript, you can handle the events defined by a class, but you cannot define your own.
<object DragEnter="DragEventHandler" .../>

Delegate

DragEventHandler

  • The corresponding tunneling event is PreviewDragEnter.

  • Override OnDragEnter to implement class handling for this event in derived classes.

This event creates an alias for the DragDrop.DragEnter attached event for this class, so that UIElement.DragEnter is part of the class members list when UIElement is inherited as a base element. Event handlers that are attached to the DragEnter event are attached to the underlying DragDrop.DragEnter attached event and receive the same event data instance.
