NameScope.GetNameScope Method

Provides the attached property get accessor for the NameScope attached property.

Parameters

dependencyObject
Type: System.Windows.DependencyObject

The object to get the XAML namescope from.

Return Value

Type: System.Windows.Markup.INameScope
A XAML namescope, as an INameScope instance.
ExceptionCondition
ArgumentNullException

dependencyObject is Nothing.

The purpose of this method is both to implement the get accessor for using NameScope as an attached property in XAML usage, and to provide the accessor for performing the equivalent operation in code.
