CircleEase.CreateInstanceCore Method

This member overrides Freezable.CreateInstanceCore(), and more complete documentation might be available in that topic.

Creates a new instance of the Freezable derived class. When creating a derived class, you must override this method.

Namespace:  System.Windows.Media.Animation
Assembly:  PresentationCore (in PresentationCore.dll)

protected override Freezable CreateInstanceCore()

Return Value

Type: System.Windows.Freezable
The new instance.

Animation classes inherit indirectly from Freezable. Because of this, you need to override the CreateInstanceCore method to construct a custom animation object.

The following example shows a typical implementation of CreateInstanceCore.

public class MyFreezable : Freezable
{
    // Typical implementation of CreateInstanceCore
    protected override Freezable CreateInstanceCore()
    {

        return new MyFreezable();
    }

    // ...
    // Other code for the MyFreezableClass.
    // ...

}
