XamlTypeMapper.SetAssemblyPath Method

Specifies the path to use when loading an assembly.

Namespace:  System.Windows.Markup
Assembly:  PresentationFramework (in PresentationFramework.dll)

public void SetAssemblyPath(
	string assemblyName,
	string assemblyPath
)

Parameters

assemblyName
Type: System.String

The short name of the assembly without an extension or path specified (equivalent to AssemblyName.Name).

assemblyPath
Type: System.String

The file path of the assembly. The assembly path must be a full file path containing a file extension.

ExceptionCondition
ArgumentNullException

assemblyName is null

-or-

assemblyPath is null.

XamlParseException

assemblyName is Empty

-or-

assemblyPath is Empty

-or-

assemblyPath is not a full file path containing a file extension.

.NET Framework Client Profile

Supported in: 4, 3.5 SP1

Windows 8.1, Windows Server 2012 R2, Windows 8, Windows Server 2012, Windows 7, Windows Vista SP2, Windows Server 2008 (Server Core Role not supported), Windows Server 2008 R2 (Server Core Role supported with SP1 or later; Itanium not supported)
