public function get TypeName () : String

public function set TypeName (value : String)

Property Value

Exception typeCondition

ArgumentNullException

Cannot set this to be a null reference (Nothing in Visual Basic).

This value is not evaluated when you set it; so long as the value is not a null reference (Nothing in Visual Basic) it will be accepted. The actual parsing and evaluation of the value is defered until ProvideValue is called on this extension and it is expected to return the type. It is more common to provide the member value during construction, which is enabled by the XAML behavior of the extension.
