DataGridViewBand.Visible Property

Gets or sets a value indicating whether the band is visible to the user.

Property Value

Type: System.Boolean
true if the band is visible; otherwise, false. The default is true.

ExceptionCondition
InvalidOperationException

The specified value when setting this property is false and the band is the row for new records.

This property can be used to hide extraneous columns or rows.

The following code example demonstrates how to use the Visible property to hide a row. This code example is part of a larger example provided for the DataGridViewBand class.

    DataGridViewBand band = dataGridView.Rows[3];
    band.Visible = false;
