ToolTipService.GetHasDropShadow Method

Gets the value of the HasDropShadow attached property for an object.

public static bool GetHasDropShadow(
	DependencyObject element

Parameters

element
Type: System.Windows.DependencyObject
The object from which the property value is read.

Return Value

Type: System.Boolean
The object's HasDropShadow property value.

The following example shows how to get the value for the HasDropShadow attached property. The FindName method finds the object called ellipse2, which is an Ellipse.


bool myBool = ToolTipService.GetHasDropShadow(
             (DependencyObject)FindName("ellipse2"));
