TabItem.TabStripPlacement Property

Gets the tab strip placement.

Namespace: System.Windows.Controls
Assembly: PresentationFramework (in presentationframework.dll)

public Dock TabStripPlacement { get; }

public function get TabStripPlacement () : Dock

You cannot use this property in XAML.

Property Value

A value from the Dock enumeration, the default placement is Top.

This property cannot be set, it gets its value from its TabControl parent.

The following example shows how to retrieve TabStripPlacement information about a TabItem.

if(tabItem1.TabStripPlacement == Dock.Left)
   btnPlacement.Content = "TabItems are placed on the left";
